If you are a student or recent graduate looking to gain experience working with juveniles, Central Counties Youth Center (CCYC) might be the place for you. CCYC is a secure juvenile detention center located in Bellefonte, PA, housing up to 14 juveniles while they await their court disposition or placement at a facility. We are seeking applicants for part-time and full-time Youth Counselor positions. These positions consist of working with juveniles between the ages of 10-17. Responsibilities include the supervision of daily activities, safety of the residents, security of the facility and teaching of life skills to the population.

Requirements
-This position is regulated by the Department of Human Services and requires staff to:
1) Complete background checks
2) Be at least 21 years of age
3) Have an Associates Degree or 60 credit hours toward a Bachelor Degree
-Possess excellent written and verbal skills.
